Molle Energy is proud to offer our customers Consulting Services from a high level of experience. As more new customers continue to enter the EV Charging space, we find our staff is constantly educating teams on everything from site selection through site energization. In 2018 we realized our teams were now subject matter experts from A-Z! We now guide customers through the entire process including, but not limited to site acquisition, site constructibility from a utility perspective, site layout and design, value engineering, and guidance through the local Building and Safety permit process. Design
Our engineering department was developed over the years and works hand in hand with our consulting team to provide value engineered options for each project. Each individual project has their own set of unique challenges to consider when selecting the optimum location of a charging station. Here at Molle Energy, we design each project to fit our customer’s needs.


Engineering
Our Molle Energy engineering team has developed systems and processes to reduce the installation timeline required to build each charging station. These reduced project schedules reduce labor costs, site costs, and ultimately lower total cost of construction. Speaking of value engineering, our construction team uses 3D engineered drawings to analyze their approach to constructing each site before determining the approach to each installation. In the case of High Power Charging Stations we have achieved construction timelines up to seven times faster than traditional construction methods. We combine our engineered installation methods with a well though out plan of action. We translate this information to a permit plan set and guide the project through local AHJ building departments for construction approval!
Electric Vehicle Charging
Our Molle Energy EV construction teams like to think all of our efforts to create efficiencies and extra time spent planning production strategies also reduces our overall carbon footprint. The fewer days our team spends on site, the less time our trucks spend on the road or idling on the job. Whats the point of accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles if we don’t start reducing carbon production now? Where we can, how we can, we will lower our use of fossil fuels! i,e. We use battery packs when possible to avoid the use of noisy and polluting gas generators. Another upside to less noise is clear communication resulting in a safer work environment for our team members!


Battery Energy Storage Systems
BESS - Battery Energy Storage Systems reduce the draw from the utility grid during peak hours, enable the charging of Electric Vehicles during emergency situations, and create resiliencies for the utility grid. In some cases the utility will not have enough energy available to run EV Charging equipment at full capacity 100% of the time, so the use of energy storage to offset costs and enable charging around the clock is critical.
Solar Energy Production
Harnessing the most abundant energy source available and coupling it with Battery Energy Storage on EV Charging Stations is the most efficient use of this sustainable fuel source. We offer PV design incorporated in to every EV Charging Station when possible.
